The MemTrax Memory ScreeningTest is not diagnostic of memory loss or any clinical condition such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

This test can provide valuable information about memory and rate of response. However, its results must be interpreted by a clinician to be of practical use.

At this time, the test has "face-validity", but a test that is not administered in a formal clinical setting cannot be used for diagnostic purposes. There are no methods to characterize this test as a diagnostic tool for various types of memory loss including Alzheimer’s disease. This test has not been approved by the FDA or any other sanctioning body.

If you are concerned about your performance, talk to your physician, or consider a full memory evaluation.
